Located on Squam Lake in Holderness, NH, the National Science Center is an all-in-one attraction for lovers of nature and learning! Featuring hiking trails, self-guided tours, live animal exhibits, kids’ activities, cruises, and more – the whole family will have a blast exploring and learning about local wildlife.

Wright Museum of World War II – 26 Min. Drive

A short drive away in Wolfeboro, NH, the Wright Museum is a “non-profit educational institution dedicated to recognizing and honoring the contributions and enduring legacy of WWII-era Americans.” This year they are celebrating their 25th anniversary! Featuring a large collection of World War II era items and rotating special exhibits, this is a must-see for history buffs.


Head out on the water

Lakefront Landing Marina – 14 Min. Drive

Stop by this family owned and operated marina on the other side of Ossipee Lake to get out and enjoy some boating fun! Lakefront Landing has a fleet of pontoons, fishing boats, jet skis, and more!


Go for a hike

West Rattlesnake Mountain – 34 Min. Drive

There are no shortage of breathtaking hiking trails in the White Mountains, so instead of listing every one, we’re highlighting one nearby. A two mile hike with an ‘easy’ rating, and featuring a stunning view of Squam Lake, this is a perfect hike for families!
